Maoli, referred to as Hawaii and Polynesia’s No. 1 independent commercial recording artist, has transcended borders with their extraordinary talent, capturing the hearts of music enthusiasts worldwide. The band, which is fronted by Glenn Awong, formed in 2007 and has since performed across the U.S., New Zealand, Australia, and the South Pacific.

In 2020 Maoli won group of the year and album of the year for their record Sense Of Purpose at iHeart’s Island Awards, followed by album of the year and song of the year in 2021. In 2023 the band embarked on the Maoli Music Overload (MMO) tour selling more than 45,000 tickets across four cities in Hawaii, in addition to selling 11,500 tickets on the MMO US tour plus several Festival appearances including Cali Roots and Holo Holo Fest Sacramento.

At The i-Heart's Island Music Awards in 2020, Maoli won the "Album of The Year" award for "Sense of Purpose", along with the prestigious "Group of the Year" award. They replicated that success in 2021 by winning the 'Album of the Year' award for "The Breakthrough" and 'Song of the Year' for "My Reason." Among those awards include a 2020 Na Hoku Hanohano Award for "Reggae Album Of The Year." It’s only through tireless perseverance and attention to artistry that they could proudly achieve these awards completely independently.

Fresh off of their sold-out Maoli Music Overload tour, Maoli is looking forward to bringing country reggae back to Hawai’i in July after quickly selling out two nights at the legendary Waikiki Shell! Maoli will be headlining throughout the state, including Kona, Maui & Kaua’i!
