Børns produced his debut studio album Dopamine in 2015 and found commercial success, peaking at number 24 in the US and generating numerous hit singles including the platinum-certified, "Electric Love". Børns has embarked on tours with artists including Charli XCX, Bleachers, and Halsey, as a supporting act, along with a set at the Coachella Festival in 2016.
